Just in time for summer Boise, Idaho band Amoeba Arena have dropped a super fun midwest emo track, Person, Place, Thing. Perfect for scratching that noodley guitar itch, we can only hope this is a teaser to an upcoming album

La Dispute -
No One was driving the car

La Dispute are back for their… 7th album? Wild. Since their 2019 album Panorama they’ve shifted slightly once again showing off their heavier side, adding in more percussive elements but still maintaining Jordan Dreyer’s iconic poetic vocals. We can’t wait to hear the rest of the album ‘No One Was Driving The Car’ in September.

Kerosene Heights -
Waste My Time

In the same sphere, emo punk outfit Kerosene heights have dropped a new single, Waste My time. A continuation of form following their 2023 debut album and cheeky EP last year.
We were lucky enough to catch them during their last New York show with Ogbert the nerd. A highly recommended live performance.

Houstons Kill the process have put out a nostalgia filled 6 song EP perfect for fans of the golden age of scream and post hardcore. I wish you’d listen was a highlight with its Seeyouspacecowboy esque emotional screams.

Gorgeous Bully, a bedroom softcore project from Manchester has put out a lovely track Waiting last month, the first since their 2022 album am I really going to die here.
Fans of Duster, Fog Lake and Alex G will love to mope around the house with this in their headphones.

Vincent Ford -
Langue SalEe

Local boy Vincent Ford has released his first solo single, Langue salée under his own name. The Gulfer (RIP) vocalist/guitarist has carried over some familiar elements with a splash of experimentation on this electronic inspired track. Another banger just in time for summer.
