Philadelphia emo math legends Algernon have returned for their first release in over 10 years in anticipation of their upcoming album Trying Not to Have a Thought. Familiar finger tapping riffs and the softly yelled vocals of Peter Helmis make it seem like they never left.

Prolific Michigan indie rock band Liquid Mike dropped a killer EP full of eclectic distorition filled bangers. Highlight track AT&T exudes nostalgia with its Weezer-esque drum beat and DJ scratching.
